The Good Life

Thanks for joining me, friends. I’m so glad you’re here with me in our own little cozy corner of the internet.

Why are we here? Well, let me tell you a story. When I was 18, life wasn’t going so well. I was traumatized by my past, abuse, family dynamics, and all the other things you’re trying to figure out when you’re 18.

One night, I was driving to church (I still remember the road I was on when it happened). The song “Good Life” by One Republic came on the radio and I began to cry…er, sob. “If only…” I thought. I thought I was destined for a life of unhealthy cycles and compromise.

It was then that I heard the Lord say to my spirit, “I’m going to give you a good life. I promise.”

And now here I am at 26, full of life and abundance. A husband who loves me like there’s no tomorrow, a doggy who is the crazy red head in the family, and I’m graduated with my B.S. in Nutrition. Living the good life.

Every day God makes good on his promise, and this blog is to share with you the Good Life that we’re all entitled to.

Grab some Chardonnay and your favorite  overpriced Target throw, and let’s do this thing.

“The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life — life in all its fullness.”
-‭‭John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭
